As promised, Google has launched the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones and you now buy them from various places. We show you where you buy Google’s new Pixel 6 phones in the UK and US.
With the 2021 flagships from Google coming in at lower prices than many predicted, they will be very tempting for a lot of people looking for a new phone. And with the ongoing global chip shortage, you’re best off getting your order in sooner rather than later.

When is the Pixel 6 release date?
Although you can order the new Pixels now, they went on sale 28 October in both the UK and US.
How much does the Pixel 6 cost?
The Pixel 6 starts at a reasonable £599/US$599 and £849/US$899 for the Pro model. Note that there are various SKUs available when you factor in storage and colour combinations.
Our info for colourways applies to the UK and note that the 512GB capacity of the Pro is only available in the US and Australia.

Where can I buy the Pixel 6 in the UK and US?
Whether you’re in the UK or the US, it’s fairly obvious you can buy the new Pixel 6 phones from the official store. However, there are plenty of other options if you prefer to buy elsewhere, perhaps for cashback reasons or you want the phone on a contract.

US
In the US, Google says the Pixel 6 and Pro will be “available on store shelves with all major U.S. carriers” meaning you should be able to get it from the following outlets.
What is Pixel Pass?
This new initiative from Google is a way of getting your Pixel 6 directly from Google on a contract. The package deal includes the phone itself as well as various additional benefits including Google One, YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Premium, Google Play Pass and Preferred Care.
You then get the chance to upgrade to a new Pixel after two years. Pixel Pass is limited to the US and starts at $45pm for the Pixel 6 and $55pm for the 6 Pro.
